ARIA — SMS CONSENT

SMS Consent for ARIA Executive Assistant

Effective Date: May 31, 2026

ARIA Executive Assistant by Obsidian Insights sends appointment reminders, scheduling updates, requested reminders, and customer-care notifications by SMS only to clients who have explicitly opted in.

Reviewer-verifiable sample opt-in form

A public sample of the client-facing ARIA opt-in form is available without login or a real client record. It shows the same unchecked consent checkbox and exact disclosure text that recipients see before ARIA records SMS consent.

How Recipients Opt In

  1. A business user creates or opens a client profile in the ARIA app.
  2. The SMS reminders consent checkbox is unchecked by default.
  3. The business user copies or drafts a personal opt-in link generated by ARIA. The link contains a secure token and opens a recipient-specific page at /sms-consent/{token}.
  4. The recipient lands on the client-facing ARIA opt-in page, which loads the server-backed consent link record and displays their name, mobile number, message categories, variable message frequency, message and data rate disclosure, HELP/STOP instructions, Privacy Policy link, and Terms and Conditions link.
  5. The recipient must actively check the unchecked consent box and tap “Agree to SMS Messages”.
  6. Only after the recipient submits the form does ARIA record consent and enable SMS for that client.

Exact Opt-In Disclosure Shown in ARIA

“I agree to receive SMS appointment reminders, scheduling updates, requested reminders, and customer-care notifications from ARIA Executive Assistant by Obsidian Insights. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Consent is not required to receive services.”

Stored Consent Records

When a recipient submits the web opt-in form, ARIA stores the following for each client:

ARIA stores SMS consent receipts in its server-side consent ledger (sms_consent_events and sms_consent_status). The default local development database path is ~/.openclaw/workspace/state/aria-server/aria-ledger.sqlite; production should set ARIA_LEDGER_DB_PATH to the durable ledger location. ARIA blocks Scheduled Send if consent is missing, if the phone number changes, if the written opt-in source is not eligible for Twilio production sends, or if the recipient replies STOP.

Message Types

ARIA sends only the following message categories. No marketing messages are sent through this campaign.

Message frequency varies based on appointment activity and the client’s interactions with their service provider through ARIA.

Opt Out and Help

Reply STOP to opt out of future SMS messages from ARIA Executive Assistant by Obsidian Insights. After opting out, no further messages will be sent unless the client opts in again.

Reply HELP for help, or contact Obsidian Insights directly at oistudio.ai/contact.

No marketing messages are sent through this campaign.

Data Sharing

Mobile opt-in data and consent records will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and message-related data may be shared with service providers, telecommunications providers, and wireless carriers only as required to deliver SMS messages, operate the service, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with applicable law.
